The Night Strangler is a made for television movie starring Darren McGavin, Simon Oakland and Jo Ann Pflug. Following the huge ratings success of The Night Stalker ABC commissioned a second television movie about the adventures of Carl Kolchak. This time the story is set in Seattle as Kolchak investigates a series of mysterious murders that happen exactly 21 years apart. The Night Strangler first aired January 16, 1973 on the ABC television network.
